Meet Our Team
Amanda is a junior from the Bay Area double majoring in Public Policy and Business Administration. As co-president of VoteSC, she strives to empower the USC community to be civically engaged and make voting accessible for all. Outside of VoteSC, she is the President of Impact Investing Group at USC and a Price School Ambassador. She can't wait for the upcoming year and is excited to lead VoteSC's efforts!

Riya Mehta
VP of Marketing
Riya is a junior studying Law, History and Culture, with a minor in Business and Psych Law. Outside of time dedicated to class and to VoteSC, Riya acts as president of Lean In USC (a student org that encourages women to “lean in” to their full potential), is involved with USC’s pre-law frat, and writes for Roosevelt @ USC (a student-run policy journal). Her interest in politics began when she got to USC, and she hopes to educate and share her civic engagement experiences to encourage others to vote and be more politically active. As VP of Marketing, she hopes to make politics more accessible to USC’s student body!

Hannah Franco
Co-Director of Outreach
Hannah is a junior from Montebello, CA studying Public Policy with a concentration in Advanced Policy Analysis and double-minoring in Behavioral Economics and Spanish. Beginning in 2008, she has volunteered in every presidential and midterm election through a combination of canvassing, phone-banking, and supporting volunteers. These early experiences at the campaign offices let her explore and understand the great value and power of civic engagement as well as solidified her dedication to voter registration initiatives. As Co-Director of Outreach, Hannah is committed to working with VoteSC's partners while also expanding its network to apolitical clubs and organizations so that every Trojan may be properly informed and prepared for every election.

Erica Noll
Co-Director of Outreach
Erica is a senior studying Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Manhattan Beach, CA. On campus, she writes for the Daily Trojan, DJs at KXSC, and works for USC ReadersPlus. In her free time, she enjoys journaling and watching stand-up. She looks forward to serving as Co-Director of Outreach and preparing her fellow Trojans to vote in November.

Christian Burks
Co-President
Christian Burks is a Junior studying Public Policy. He has long been engaged in ensuring the people of his home state of Alabama have the means to register to vote by working with local chapters of groups including the NAACP and Indivisible, and he hopes to do the same on USC’s campus by serving as the Co-President of VoteSC. He is also leading an effort to revive the USC Ilios Journal of Political Science and Philosophy, and believes that now more than ever it is vital to elevate the political voices of students on campus.

Emily Caruso
Vice President, Director of Marketing
Emily is a senior studying creative writing, and is also in the process of getting a master's degree in literary editing and publishing. She loves telling stories and is very grateful to be sharing the story of voter registration on campus. As part of VoteSC's social media and senior leadership team, she looks forward to inspiring the next generation of student voters, highlighting student voices, and creating engaging video and social media content.

Paola Morales
Co-Director of Programming
Paola is a senior studying Political Science with a minor in Cinematic Arts and working towards her progressive degree in Public Administration. On campus, she is involved with Society 53, Trojan Vision, and The Women's Network. She has interned at the Mayor Eric Garcetti's office and SKDKnickerbocker in Washington D.C. She is super passionate about civil rights. She is excited to work with VoteSC to increase student turnout!

Hailey Irwin
Co-Director of Programming
Hailey is a sophomore majoring in GeoDesign and double minoring in Technology, Practices, and Platforms and Real Estate Development. She is from Washington, DC and ever since she can remember, the concept and power of voting has been engrained into her life. She is so excited to be Co-Director of Programming this coming year for VoteSC. On campus she is also involved in Alpha Chi Omega, Christian Challenge, the Women’s Network, and is a volunteer tour guide for the admission office. And always Fight on!
